Ground Control Nationals!
This year the Ground control Nationals held on Sunday November 14th takes place in a new venue, The kings Battleground martial arts expo in Nottingham at the Trent Fm Arena.
The team CASH prizes will be distributed as follows 1st place £300 2nd place £200 3rd place £100 So its simple, bring a large team and give yourselves a better chance of earning some money for your club.
Points for the teams are awarded as follows:
Kids: 1st 3pts 2nd 2pts 3rd 1pt
Women: 1st 7pts 2nd 6pts 3rd 5pts
Adult male beginner: 1st 3pts 2nd 2pts 3rd 1pt
Adult male intermediate: 1st 5pts 2nd 4pts 3rd 3pts
Adult male advanced: 1st 7pts 2nd 6pts 3rd 5pts
Adult male veterans: 1st 7pts 2nd 6pts 3rd 5pts
Prizes for winners of all divisions
There will be clothing prizes provided by MMA fightwear.net Like2fight, K2fightgear, Caged Steel, Gnp Clothing, Sleepy Nemui, Bellatorgero Body Fuel These prizes will be given to the winners of divisions. All division winners will also receive free entry to our following event. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will receive medals. In addition the winner of the u73kg advanced category will gain qualification to the 4-man CASHprize superbout tournament at the following event next year!
All competitors are guaranteed at least 2 bouts at the event!
Superfight Tournament
The 4-man Superbout Tournament at this event with £500 CASH prize for the winner will feature Italo Ferreira, Leigh Remedios, Paul McVeigh and Luiz Tosta.

Grab and Pull at the Arena
Grab & pull is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament that was established 2 years ago with the vision of creating top of the range Gi's and fight clothing. As part of the marketing strategy we planned to run events to promote the clothing range but as the gi's took longer than anticipated to design and produce, the events became the main product. Since the start we have run tournaments in various locations such as:

2. Scottish BJJ Open - 2010 - NATIONAL
3. Irish BJJ Cup - 2010 - NATIONAL
4. London BJJ Open - 2010 - COUNTY

7. North West BJJ Open - 2010 - COUNTY
8. Midlands BJJ Open - 2010 - COUNTY
9. London NOGI Open - 2010 - COUNTY

Along with the clothing and Events we work with various other companies such as EA sports, Sherdog, Jiu Jitsu Pro Gear and more recently the Online Fight Channel or OFC as it is known (www.onlinefightchannel.com). With us working with OFC we have delivered seminars with international fighters like Fabrico werdum, Demian Maia and the Mendes brothers.
Looking into the future Grab & Pull are looking to run a professional European fight league next year, and are in the process of arranging this along with various other tournaments in the UK and Europe for professional and amateurs.
Amateur and Semi Pro MMA tournament
During the day we will have a 16 man Amateur MMA tournament with the winner recieving a title belt! We will have 5 different weight divisions. Contact us to enter if you have not already.
